The absolute best!

We knew we wanted to hire Shannon to photograph our wedding before we'd even selected a date or venue. We had been fortunate to watch Shannon in action at several other weddings and were always impressed by her warmth, energy, organization, and gorgeous photographs. In the lead-up to our wedding, Shannon was fun and easy to work with and she made helpful suggestions about the timing and locations for photos. During the event, she not only kept us on schedule but she also made sure we were relaxed and well-hydrated. We were also so glad we hired her husband Charlie as a second shooter -- they are clearly a fantastic team, and our friends and family raved about both of them during and after the event. The finished photos are stunning and perfectly capture the beauty of our venue, the emotions of the day, and the fun we had with our guests. Thank you Shannon and Charlie!

Special photographer for a special day

Shannon is exactly who you want to guide you through your special events. With Shannon doing our engagement photos and wedding photos, we can unequivocally say that she is the perfect photographer. She makes you feel at ease, keeps a perfect pace of the event, and always takes your thoughts into account. She gets amazing shots that'll make you always fondly look back of your special event. We added her photographer assistant to the package as well and couldn't recommend it enough. Charlie gets great snaps and is an awesome presence to have. When it comes to your wedding, don't pass on the opportunity to hire of of the Bay State's best photographers!

Shannon is Essential!

Before we got married, the best photo ever taken of my wife and I was by Shannon when we were guests at a friend’s wedding. It was an amazing - and quite telling - realization. If Shannon can capture a beautiful, personal photo of us when all we were to her were two random guests dancing, there’s no telling what she can do when it’s actually our wedding day! It’s no surprise that from our engagement shoot, all through our wedding ceremony and reception, Shannon continued to create stunning shot after stunning shot. As a vendor/partner, she is a breeze to work with, leading up to the event and during it; she’s as organized, detail-oriented, and focused on flow as a wedding planner. When she is shooting, she makes you feel relaxed and strikes the perfect balance between being jovial and keeping everyone on schedule. It is just so fun to get your photo taken by Shannon! Hiring her (and her husband Charlie as a second shooter) is essential and ensures that no moment - however small - goes uncaptured. The fact that they can do all this while being gentle, careful, and feeling like genuine friends is why they are special.

More than that, she just is a kind and funny human being that is a pleasure to work with! After our wedding, we literally had several different family members ask us how we knew Shannon, asking "Is she a friend of yours? I felt like I knew her!" because that's just the kind of person Shannon is. She made everyone so comfortable and our pictures came out that much better because it was like hanging out with a friend. Shannon went above her role and helped direct the flow of our wedding and made sure that it was as stress free as possible. The level of professionalism, heart, and humor that she brings to her work makes it inevitable that we will work with her again in the future.

My husband and I planned a DIY wedding in our front yard for over 200 guests. With so much to coordinate on our own, I never had one flickering concern about our photographer. Shannon was amazing to work with and generous with her time, advice, and warmth. I gave Shannon Giselle Photography an absurd amount of family and group photos to take and they got EVERY SINGLE ONE. Shannon and her husband Charlie make a truly remarkable, professional team. They were fun, organized, warm (I can't not use this word!), and talented.

They made a terrific addition to our event as all-star humans/photographers AND we are spectacularly happy with the photos from our wedding day. 5 stars is not enough stars! Give these two the galaxy, I've never felt more beautiful and HEARD. Thank you!

The best around, hands down.

Words can't even describe home much we LOVE Shannon and her work. When we were looking for our wedding photographer, personality was extremely important to us and let me tell you, Shannon has an amazing one. She is kind and sweet but knows how to take charge and always has your best interests at heart. From our first Skype meeting, Owen and I knew she was the one. Our engagement shoot was beyond amazing - she captured us perfectly and was able to use tons of natural light. I instantly felt comfortable with her. Shannon was there every step of the way as we planned our wedding (and I will be honest - i texted/emailed/frantically called a ton of times and she was always there to talk me through everything). The ones I have seen so far are INCREDIBLE and I am so excited to see more and relive the big day all over again. Do yourself a favor and snatch Shannon up to photograph any of your big life events -

Amazing experience

Shannon was truly amazing! Cody and I could not be more grateful. She was willing to help with anything, she was clearly experienced and she was flexible, yet had an organized, timely plan which relieved so much stress from Cody and me on the day of the wedding. We also had Charlie come which was so helpful, I would recommend getting them both if you can, they make a great team!

Shannon and her husband Charlie were phenomenal photographers. My husband and I could not have been happier that we hired them. They kept the photos fun, made it work with the weather (nor’easter and ~40 degrees in October), and let us be ourselves while providing some direction to get the perfect photos. The photos are beautiful and feel like us. We’ve already recommended Shannon to our friends and plan on recommending her to anyone we meet who needs a photographer.

Shannon isn't only talented, she's kind and fun and SO flexible and a total hit with my kids. Last shoot we did, neither child cooperated. Somehow we still had a hard time choosing which of the gorgeous photos to put on our Christmas cards. Every time has been so relaxed and personal where she asks just what I'm looking for in our photos, and if I have a hard time articulating, she'll take a few to try and illustrate and we'll put words to it together.
